This notion that if you criticise the ANC government or you say that South Africa isn't working and needs a more sustainable system is somehow evidence that one wants to return to apartheid is extremely superficial at best (if not blatantly malicious and dishonest). Self-governance is a principle applied all over the world, and it has been a fundamental principle of constitutionalism throughout the ages. We want to learn from the past and move forward towards a better, more sustainable future. No-one wants to return to the past.
