Sharing with permission. “Birth trauma due to refusal to vaccinate-this was two years ago…note the violent restraints… our first non vax baby. C section due to breech. My husband and I fought so hard for her to not have any shots. No eye cream nothing. Before the c section under general anesthesia the OB and pediatrician refused to speak to me as I laid on the table. They instead spoke about me and how terrible of parents we were for not vaccinating her. When I woke up in recovery I heard my husband yelling at the nurse to take the restraints off because I am a victim of kidnapping and trafficking and he said I would freak out. They did not give me pain meds and I was left crying for help tied down and unable to even use the barf bag when I needed to vomit. This photo was taken by my doula. They finally knocked me out with fentanyl so much I could barely breathe and could barely get my chest to expand (no I did not have an epidural or spinal). They hammered incessantly about the vaccines while I was tied down and barely breathing like this. We stood our ground and my husband said if they didn’t untie me he would do it himself and he moved towards the ties. Two days later they demanded we sign vaccine refusal papers or they would call police and forcibly take baby from my arms to the nicu and hold her and call cps. We videoed it. The threats etc. They posted a security guard outside my door. I clung to my baby. My husband signed the paper and wrote “signed under duress” at the top while I videoed. We have not been back to that hospital since and I will never go back there. This is the reality of what you might face if you stand up against the tyranny and for profit business of the health industry. We took our baby home completely free of pokes etc. For all that I suffered and still do from the trauma, I would do it all over again to keep my babies safe.
