Topic clustering for social feeds (group similar/related posts)

@elonmusk Hey Elon, huge fan of how X is evolving into the everything app. Feature idea: A **topic grouping/clustering** system for related posts. There are so many users on X posting about the exact same topics (breaking news, hot debates, viral events, petitions like the Smith-Mundt ones, etc.), all thinking similar things or sharing the same content/videos—but they're scattered everywhere. Right now, when something blows up, our feeds get flooded with dozens (or hundreds) of nearly identical posts, each with slight variations or different commentary. It's overwhelming, repetitive, and makes it hard to see fresh takes. What if X automatically (or optionally) grouped similar/related posts together? - Cluster them by topic similarity (using Grok/AI to detect same images/videos/text/themes). - Show one representative post in the main feed, with a "See X more on this topic" expander or tab. - Or a dedicated "Topic View" mode that bundles them like mini-threads. - Users could opt-in to tag their posts to a topic, or it auto-detects. This would: - Clean up timelines massively. - Help like-minded people discover each other easier (without full Communities for every niche). - Reduce spam feel from coordinated/repetitive posting. - Make X feel smarter and more organized.
