How idOS actually protects your data (and why it matters) idOS was built around a simple idea: your data should belong to you, not a platform, not a database, not an intermediary. Instead of storing user information in a single centralized server, idOS distributes encrypted data across a network of independent nodes. Everything is protected with end-to-end encryption using keys you control. For anyone to access your data, they’d need both the storage node’s private key and your personal private key. That combination is practically impossible to obtain, which dramatically raises the security bar compared to traditional systems. In other words trust is replaced with cryptography.
