@MrEwanMorrison Well, something is wrong with that interpretation of AI's role. "Trust, but verify." Treat AI no different from a hired employee; if you aren't familiar enough with the subject matter to explain the concept well enough to a human to get verifiably good output from them, AND TO RELIABLY VERIFY THAT OUTPUT YOURSELF, you aren't familiar enough with the subject matter to expect good results from an AI, either. And that's how it should be: AI should be a productivity tool for people who can already do whatever they're using AI to assist with, not a replacement for one's own brain and skills. Replacing the human brain and skills with AI is how we get slop. Nobody wants slop.
