Hey everyone, we are working on a small tool idea for copywriters and I’d really love your honest feedback. The problem I see is this: when you want to rephrase a sentence or a paragraph, you usually have to open ChatGPT or another site, copy your text, paste it there, write a prompt, then copy the result back. It works, but it’s a lot of small annoying steps for something as simple as “can you just rewrite this line”. My idea is a tool called Rephrazo that does paraphrasing right where you write. The flow in my head is very simple: you select a piece of text where you are writing (doc, email, social post, etc.) you call the app with a shortcut or from the context menu a small popup appears with an AI rewrite of that text if you like it, you click once and it replaces the original text So it’s not about inventing a new AI model. It’s more about reducing the friction around something we already do all the time: rephrasing, softening, tightening, changing tone. Right now I’m trying to understand if this is actually useful for real copywriters or if it’s just a “cool but unnecessary” idea. I’d love to hear: would you personally use something like this, and in what situations? what is more painful for you: coming up with ideas from scratch or rewriting what you already have? is there any “must have” for a tool like this so that you would actually use it every week? Brutally honest feedback is very welcome. If it ends up being useful and I ship a beta, I’m happy to share it here as well.
