Authorship & provenance verification for AI-assisted art

#AI art didn’t explode because it suddenly found a soul. It exploded because a lot of people are tired of the slow, uncomfortable process of becoming good at something. That’s understandable. Being ignored hurts. Learning is frustrating. Failing in public is brutal. But skipping all of that and declaring yourself an artist because software gave you a result? That’s self-deception. #Art has never been about polished visuals. It comes from experience, intent, and the courage to stand behind a decision. AI doesn’t choose. It doesn’t hesitate. It doesn’t carry consequences. It recombines what already exists and presents it as originality, while the human behind it borrows credibility they didn’t earn. As a tool, AI is useful. No argument there. But tools don’t create meaning - people do. Calling output “authorship” just because it looks impressive isn’t evolution, it’s dilution. And the more aggressively this gets marketed as a cultural breakthrough, the clearer the hollowness becomes. Speed isn’t the future. Sensitivity, judgment, and accountability are. Everything else is just visual static- momentarily impressive, ultimately forgettable.
