We don’t talk enough about this side of building in private. Several months ago, my partner and I started a company. Since then it’s been: • product → iterate → scrap → rebuild • first app idea → second app → almost ready to launch • learning, unlearning, fixing mistakes • pouring personal money into tools, hosting, and survival No screenshots of $30K/month. No overnight success threads. Just… work. And here’s my honest take after living it 👇 Vibe coding looks glamorous on X. But if you’re not a developer and you think AI will ‘build it all for you,’ you’re not skipping the hard part you’re just delaying the pain. Real products still need: • backend architecture • database decisions • security • auth • scalability • debugging • actual users • iteration after launch Tweets don’t build companies. AI demos don’t build companies. Shipping + learning + not quitting does. We’re currently: • $0 revenue • 100% self-funded • still building • still showing up And we’re okay with that. Because not everything has to be ‘$300K/month in 2 weeks.’ Sometimes it’s two people quietly building something real. If you’re in this same phase no loud wins yet, just resilience I see you. 👇 Tell me what you’re building.
