How did the USA and NATO fail Ukraine? Because here is the uncomfortable truth: if the United States stopped cooperating tomorrow, Europe would have almost nothing left to send in meaningful quantities. The entire system has been built on the assumption that America will always fill the gap...but America never actually opened the vault. Meanwhile: The U.S. has hundreds of Abrams tanks sitting in boneyards… and Ukraine received only 31. The U.S. has thousands of M113s parked in storage lots collecting dust… and it is cheaper to ship them overseas than to keep maintaining them. The U.S. has stockpiles of vehicles, guns, F-16 aircraft, and equipment mothballed across deserts and depots… gear that will never be used by the American military again. All of this could have been delivered immediately, at scale, in 2022. It was not. Instead, Ukraine was fed a slow drip...just enough to survive, never enough to win. If victory had truly been the goal, the West would have emptied storage depots, reopened production lines, and flooded the battlefield with everything needed to break Russia’s military. That is how you win wars. That is how you save lives. That is how you stop an invasion. But that is not what happened. And that reveals the real strategy: Keep Ukraine alive… but never let Ukraine actually win.
