@ma1ybe I love this. Be assertive and channel your inner white, middle aged man. I hate dealing with car dealerships in general. They've taken advantage of me because at the time I didn't know better.

Women are taught to be submissive so they could take advantage of us. Case in point: I dropped my car at the dealership for repairs. The guy says they'll need to keep it a few days—maybe two, maybe five. I asked for a loaner; he said sorry, none available. I explained I live an hour away and an Uber wouldn't work for days. He suggested bringing it back another time when they have one. I pointed out I'd already driven an hour and the lot had hundreds of cars, I felt totally stuck. So I thought, what would a man do? I threw a tantrum: I said “I need a fucking car! You have to give me one. This same bullshit happened last time, and you should've fixed it five months ago. Give me a car, please!" Then He went to “triple check,” came back, and suddenly a loaner appeared. I'm sitting in it now. Moral of the story: Be kind when possible, but when in doubt, act like a man.
