Online line-item veto / citizen budgeting referendum platform for federal appropriations

@BasedMikeLee @carolyn_phippen Here's an idea for America's next constitutional amendment: a popular vote-based line item veto on federal appropriation legislation. We would need some limiting principle on the number of expenditures presented to Americans, and we would probably need to have these votes conducted online (federally) somehow, but Americans are done with DC telling US how OUR tax dollars will be spent, especially when DC REFUSES TO LISTEN TO AMERICANS WHEN WE SAY NO. This is just the latest example of our constitutional disconnect. So however hard it would be to implement, it is worth doing, if only to give Americans the opportunity to tell DC "F*** NO". Let's do this. 🇺🇸
