This short film about an encounter with Francis Schaeffer is 👌My favorite part is where he asks the young man struggling with confidence about being a missionary, “Do you love Jesus? Do you love people?” Goodness knows I’ve struggled with confidence about serving people with serious mental illness because I don’t have a degree or biblical counseling certification. But you don’t need those things to begin to serve or love people. If you’re a believer, you have the Holy Spirit, you have the hope of the gospel, and you have a body of believers who can encourage and challenge you. Dear me, or you, we have everything we need.
