Configurable time-window feed (show posts from last N hours/days) for X

I wish X had a feature that would allow for viewing only recent posts with options of the last hour, 2 hours, 3 hours etc. I can log in and refresh and still see nothing but old posts that I have already seen repeatedly. A nice drop down with hours or days for those that don’t regularly check in on x would be nice. When I see nothing but the same regurgitated posts over and over I tend to just log out.
