@Biomaven @DoctorHenryCT Here’s an idea. Flat sales taxes. No income tax. Completely eliminate IRS. Put onus on state sales tax collections. Not to mention the productivity boom from businesses not needing to do all of the federal tax paperwork, not to mention 90k+ smart IRS people back into the public workforce. Oh and the tax preparation industry can now find jobs that actually contribute to GDP instead of working on internal US tax compliance red tape. But sure. More IRS makes sense. 🤦♂️
