Robust script-embedding library/plugin for WordPress (handles wrappers/GTM)

a little story from the rollercoaster named SaaS 👇 on sunday, I woke up with a new subscription notification for Vemetric - yay a new customer! .. felt great and I enjoyed the breakfast with the family a few hours later: got a cancellation request .. the user wrote me the Vemetric Wordpress plugin broke his website and he wants a refund - yikes! from feeling great to feeling quite bad in a few seconds .. especially because I just provided a fix for the Wordpress Plugin a few days earlier and couldn't really think of what would be the case of this issue I told the user I was really sorry for this and I'd give him the refund anytime, but also asked if he'd be open to taking a closer look and see if we could fix the problem on his site after a bit of back and forth, I figured out that one of his Wordpress plugins wrapped the Vemetric script into another script, making reading from the script's data attributes not work anymore I already had a solution for this because when integrating Vemetric via Google Tag Manager, you have the same problem, but I haven't implemented it in the Vemetric Wordpress plugin so I did the change there too, told the user that he should please try it with the new version, and boom - it worked :) he was happy that it's now working on his site and I could convince him to stick with Vemetric .. a huuge win for me, because now the Wordpress Plugin is also more robust in different scenarios but still, it was an emotional rollercoaster and I felt really bad for breaking the user's site in the first place
