@DeCesareStephen @FatherAltman It breaks my heart that priests and laity have gotten so utterly frustrated with the leadership of Holy Mother Church, that statements like this and the hundreds of others on X that I’ve seen, need to be said. The Bishops have been WAY to soft spoken in the past especially when us parents were desperate for guidance on the increasing normalization of transgender issues, parental rights being invaded, horrors of abortion and silence of Catholic leadership on these issues (Biden, Pelosi), Covid nightmare, participation on the open boarder humanitarian crisis Americans, as well as women and children that were told to come, Pope praying over a block of ice !! What the heck is that all about?? , could go on and on. As one of the faithful, it’s reached a boiling point. And while it is tragic, to read such things against our leadership, change is needed and without a loud outcry and a drop in donations, nothing will be done!
