Zillow-like site for closed rental comps and historical rent data

Every single time a property rents they take it off the MLS, so it just disappears on zillowredfin realtor. com and all the other online websites and there’s no record of what it rented for how many days it was on market, rental concessions, etc Why doesn’t someone build a website like Zillow but for rentals that would allow renters to know rates for rent and it would allow homeowners a better way to search for CLOSED rental comps. We all know what is listed active, but nobody besides agents/MLS access know what has closed. As of today, I don’t know of any public database for rental comps once they rent besides the MLS, but not everybody has access to the MLS Why doesn’t this exist? For one it would make my job easier if I’m looking for closed rental comparables while out in the field and I don’t have access to the MLS
