Dating-app safety & reporting platform for LGBTQIA+ users

Switchboard does incredible work, providing support for the LGBTQIA+ community. Their new service Rainbow Door provides a dedicated hotline, offering free and confidential support for those who have experienced targeted violence on dating apps. In 2025, this service shouldn't have to exist in the first place. People shouldn't be targeted for who they are - and who they love. The fact that we're still seeing violence and hate against gay and bisexual men - is backwards and it has no place here in our state. It's why Switchboard's work is so important. And why we'll back them with our dedicated support. To let the queer community know that they are not alone. And that there is a place for them to turn to, where they belong. I want to thank Switchboard's workers and staff who take these calls each and every day. And to the LGBTQIA+ community, my Government will always stand with you. Against fear, against hate, against those who try to push people back into the shadows. We'll always stand for equality. Because here in Victoria, no matter who you are or who you love, you belong.
