I have waited to calm down a bit. Failed. Pelicans game: - I fucking love this loss. The process had been shit for a while and this team needed a wake up call. - People have been telling this since i dunno when: This team doesn’t have a structure, hierarchy, discipline. You dont magically become a disciplined team just because your coach gets angry during games. - With the current situation this is a first round exit team. - We forget we have a KD on the team. We dont fucking care. We can create good shots for him, then we decide not to do that. Its a matter of choice rather than ability. And KD gotta take care of the ball man. I lost count of the unforced turnovers. Amen, kd and bari had 14 turnovers. Kd gotta be the finisher, not facilitator - Alperen was the victim of the unstructured, non hierarchy basketball for years, now he started to become a part of the problem. Thats what happens when a team dont have a true identity, clear roles. He plays unsmart at times. - Sengun gotta make the fts. But more importantly he gotta revert to facilitating role. Sengun taking 27 shots means we cant create shots for others. I need him averaging 10 assist and taking 20 shots at most. He needs more touches not shots. But when the roles are blur, shit happens, these guys are young - And tbh, i dont get these rotations at all man. Getting Sengun out early, capela minutes, double big overtime. A guy gets in the rhythm, the next possession he sits. This happens too often. - Why in the hell we are not using Reed as the main fucking point guard?? Bari has the worst handle in the entire league and he at least tries 2-3 times to dribble. Automatic turnover. Amen get stripped regularly. - And for those who links all our problems to fred’s absence, we had this same hierarchy, role sharing issues when we had Fred on the court as well. This is not just a roster issue, let’s accept this: this is a coaching issue
