If your Framer template keeps getting rejected, you’re not alone. Mine got rejected four times before approval because of small details I missed Here’s the checklist I wish I had earlier: 1. Design carries the approval. Strong hierarchy, spacing, aesthetics. Get this right and 90% is done 2. Use proper semantic tags: nav, main, section, footer and correct heading tags H1-H6 3. Add alt text to every image for accessibility 4. Use styles for colors and text. Every single element should linked with style 5. Set a max width so layouts scale well on large screens 6. Keep padding and gaps consistent across all pages 7. Group assets into clearly named folders and keep them updated in the Assets panel 8. Make the preloader appear instantly, no long blank states 9. Use high quality assets only, no washed out or pixelated visuals 10. Add pagination to all CMS index pages for smoother navigation 11. Build Privacy Policy and Terms as CMS pages for easy updates 12. Add visible success and error states on all forms 13. Ensure pages scroll to top on navigation. Smooth scroll component usually breaks this, add the component per page, not in template layout 14. Fix all overflow issues, often happens with tight line heights texts like 0.9 or 1 15. Double check grammar and typos, Reviewers notice this too 16. Add proper form labels linked to inputs for accessibility 17. Remove widow words for cleaner text flow 18. Remove hover effects from non clickable elements 19. Add clear hover states for clickable toggles so users know they are interactive 20. Use mailto: and tel: for email and phone links Hope it helps! 🫶
