@howertonjosh I hear what you are conveying, Josh. I don’t know if you heard me but I do hear you in this reply and thank you for it. For those of us in Christ, it is honorable to be married and have children and it’s honorable to remain single. Both can flourish. That’s the example of the early NT church. I did get stuck on the word “cute” and I’ll tell you on reason why. I know so many marvelous single women who love Jesus with all their hearts. Among them are no few who want/wanted to be married and have babies and are often left to wonder if they somehow were not attractive enough or if they — in late 20s & in their 30s! — have aged out of being good wife material. It breaks my heart because their excellence and loveliness are so apparent. I will leave the conversation here and in good faith.
